Christmas Eve, 2006

Sent holiday emails to my AA sponsor and the handful of guys that I sponsor in AA. For the past fifteen years, AA has been one of the most important (if the not the most important) parts of my life.

This Christmas is the first without children for us since 1983. How is it that these progressions in life which have occurred since time immemorial in countless families can seem so unique when one experiences it first hand?
